Pipi Soup – (Hupa Pipi)

Ingredients: -
Pipi’s (As many as you like),
Milk,
Mixed vegetables,
Salt and Pepper, to taste,
Flour or Cornflour, for thickening,
METHOD: -
Shell pipis, and strain juice into a jug until sand free. Pour the juice into a pot and simmer gently.
Add milk, vegetables and seasoning and lastly thickening to the consistency that you like.
Serve hot with Rewena bread or fried bread. A nice, simple recipe to celebrate Matariki.
