Ingredients:
500g ground beef or lamb (or a mix)
1 small onion, finely grated
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 slice of bread, soaked in milk and crumbled1 egg
2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
Salt and pepper, to taste
Olive oil for frying
METHOD:
In a large bowl, combine ground meat, grated onion, garlic, soaked bread, egg, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
Form small balls (about the size of a walnut). Chill in the fridge for 30 mins to help them hold their shape.
Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs in batches until browned and cooked through (about 8–10 mins).
Enjoy with lemon wedges and your favourite salad.
