Ingredients:
500g ground lamb
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp paprika
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 Tbsp chopped fresh mint or parsley (optional)
1 Tbsp olive oil
4 burger buns
Lettuce leaves
1 red onion, thinly sliced
1 tomato, sliced
Mayo, optional
METHOD:
In a bowl, mix ground lamb with garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Shape into 4 equal patties.
Heat olive oil in a pan or grill over medium-high heat.
Cook patties for 4–5 mins per side, or until browned and cooked through.
Lightly toast burger buns on the grill or in a pan.
Place lettuce on the bottom bun, then add the lamb patty.
Top with tomato slices, red onion rings.
Finish with the top bun. Serve with fries and your favourite sauce.
